Overview

An exquisite lady’s cream neck flounce, Limerick darning in an overall dainty scrolling leaf design outlined with running stitch. Silk ? net and silk yarn finely stitched design elements. Tiny picot edge attached which has separated in parts. This was couched back using a fine Japanese silk thread.

There is a join in the middle. A section on one side has been cut off by donor to use in her records.

Two heavy foxing spots.
