Overview

a) Place mat.
Size: 485 mm x 327 mm
Stitches: pin stitch, stem, satin.
Fabric: silk organza.
Threads: stranded cotton for embroidery, sewing cotton for pin stitch.
White silk organza oval mat with blue linen edge, scalloped inner pin stitched area. Left side has a spray of six blue linen appliquéd pin stitch ivy shaped leaves. Right side, one small leaf.

b) Serviette
Size: 400 mm x 395mm
Square blue linen mat, pin stitched hem. Small white scalloped triangle insert of silk organza in the corner with one ivy shaped blue linen appliquéd leaf in pin stitch. Leaf stem in stem stitch, with one bud in satin stitch.
