Other signage is also in evidence. Above and behind on the higher structure, centre to the photo, is written; Throssell So. Below on signage board are the words: Crossley Cars
Two men in overalls are seen to the right of the fourth vehicle.
Two vehicles have what appears to be a foldable roof, one has no roof and the fourth roof appears to be of solid construction.
The premises shown here at 11 Peel Tce, Northam (built 1888-1890) originally operated as the Throssell Emporium.
After being sold by the Throssell family in 1920, the place was used as a greengrocer until c.1924.
Between c.1924-1930 it was used as a motor garage and engineering workshop.
