Photograph taken in December 1911. The wedding took place at St. Andrew's Church of England, Barker Road, Subiaco. The minister was Rev. R. J. Cragg. Eleanor Silvester (nee Whaley) died in 1920. All three men wearing dark formal suits, stiff high collars and bow ties, with watch-chains across waistcoat, button-hole in left lapel and carrying white gloves in right hand. Eleanor Silvester, seated on a carved wooden chair with arms, is wearing a large hat with ornamental plumage, and dress with a high collar, corsage and gloves. The dress features lace and large buttons. Katie Silvester is wearing a lace gown with long veil and flowers in her hair, corsage on bodice. The dress has a simple round collar and a sash with lace flower. Katie wears a brooch and heart shaped locket and carries a large bouquet of fern and roses. Vera Silvester, who is seated, is wearing a large lacy hat, short lace dress with corsage attached to belt, long gloves and dark shoes and stockings. Vera has a locket or pendant around her neck and carries a bouquet of roses.
