Overview

The image features a group of children with their teacher assembled outside the church. The girls wear white pinafores over their frocks and the boys wear suits with lace collars and knickerbockers. The teacher is wearing a black, high necked frock with puffed sleeves. The church has a front porch with an entrance at the right side. There is a stained glass window above the porch. A wooden cross sits at the apex of the roof. A copy of this photograph also appears to be in the State Library Collection (2541B). Note accompanying this version reads ‘Bagot Rd Presp Church, Subiaco c1898. Teacher Miss Martin’.
