The 15th Triennial Conference of the Associated Country Women of the World was held in Nairobi from October l0th-20th 1977 was a happy gathering of nearly 1,000 members from 46 of the 74 member countries.
This, the first conference of its kind to be held in Africa and Mrs Raigh Roe from Western Australia was elected World President. There were 4 nominees for the position.
