Branch of the Year Competition 1980
Caversham Branch raised the most money, raising $4,295.00 and Wellstead branch raised the most money pro-rata of membership, raising $4,203.42.
Both branches delegates at Geraldton State Conference.

Mrs Rona Hayward was awarded Honorary Life membership of the Association at the Geraldton State Conference and later Wellstead Branch unanimously voted that their prize of 2 tickets between any two points on the MMA network be designated to Mrs Haywood for her personal use, in appreciation of her
dedicated service to the Association. Surely an example of true CWA spirit.
