PHOTOGRAPH: SUBIACO BRASS BAND
The photograph, taken out of doors, shows the band members arranged in three rows. The conductor sits in the middle of the front row, holding a baton. The drum has been placed in front of him. All the men are dressed in uniform, except for the two sitting on either side of the conductor, and all, except for these two, hold their instruments. The trumpet players in the back row wear different hats to the rest of the band. A young drummer boy appears at the extreme left of the front row. A brick and weatherboard building with iron roof is shown in the background. Written on the back of the photograph are the words 'Fire Brigade Band?'
