PHOTOGRAPH: KING EDWARD MEMORIAL HOSPITAL ENTRANCE
The image shows the entrance of the hospital taken from the entrance of the circular driveway. Two huge palm trees flank the entrance and shrubs and other trees obscure the steps and the sides of the building. The large doors are rounded at the top to follow the curved brickwork pattern around the entrance. On both sides of the entrance are towers with cupolas on the top. On either side above the windows at the edge of the roof is a low decorative concrete wall. A large steeple shows in the background. A newer section of the hospital can be seen in the background at the left.
