PHOTOGRAPH: PICNICKING AT CRAWLEY

The women wear long skirts with full sleeved blouses and straw hats. The men wear trousers and jackets, with one man wearing a large brimmed hat and the other a straw boater. The girl wears a short skirt and a full sleeved blouse with a frilled collar and a straw hat. There is a shed at water level behind the girl and a couple of buildings can be seen on top of the hill in the background. Picnicking at Crawley was a favourite outing for Subiaco residents.
