1927SUBIACO CHORAL SOCIETY, CHAMPION CHOIR, PERTH EISTEDDFOD The original sepia and black and white images feature the members of the Subiaco Choral Society. There are twenty-two women in white dresses (except one), with the majority also wearing pearls. There are fourteen men (including E.J. Watkins, conductor) in black evening suits with black bow ties (except one). The choir is arranged in four rows with the front row seated. The inscription on the mount reads: 'Subiaco Choral Society - Champion Choir - Perth Eisteddfod - 31st May 1927 - Presented by the choir to its conductor E.J. Watkins.'
The Society holds a copy, possibly donated by Ken Hunt, 70b Brampton Road, Wembley. Sepia photograph. Frank Foley of Heytesbury Road can identify members. 1985.48.2 Framed copy.
