Little Edie sits in a seat behind the horse, facing her parents. Mr Nelson wears a dark suit with shirt and tie and a broad brimmed soft hat. Mrs Nelson wears a white bluse with dark skirt and a straw flat brimmed hat with a ribbon. Edie wears a long white frock and a hat with the crown covered in tulle.
