Overview

The band, dressed in uniform, is grouped in three rows, all holding their instruments, with the conductor sitting in the middle of the front row with the drums placed in front of him and holding a baton and a cornet. He displays a collection of medals on the right side of his jacket. Attachment to the photograph notes this as 'Subiaco's 1st Municipal Brass Band. 1917'.

Lionel Nagle; 7. Lee MacAlinden. Front row No. 2. Mat Dye; 3. B?? Halverson; 5. Fred ?; 6. Syd Jane. Other suggested names are: G. Tatham, Jack Buncle, Subi Burton, Bill Opie, Bill Jose, Charlie Ram.
