Overview

Image: Six uniformed fireman on the fire engine outside Subiaco Fire Station, four men standing on running board, two seated in front. Figure 3rd from right is W.H. Williams, father of the donor, who notes that the engine is a 'Napier'. There is a small Union Jack on the bonnet and the tyres are solid rubber. The fire station doors are open and the wooden façade and double gables are fairly visible. Part of a brick building is seen on the left hand side of the photo. Mr W.H. Williams had a tea delivery business at 226 Rokeby Road and was also a member of the Subiaco Methodist Young Men's Branch.
