PHOTOGRAPH: HOUSE, 73 BARKER RD, SUBIACO, C.1993
c. 1993Colour photocopy of exterior of house at No.73 Barker Road, Subiaco, c.1993, believed to be the former home of a Lord Mayor of Perth, Mr. J. Totterdell, and is the current home of the donor. It is a single storey brick residence with large chimney visible, a front verandah with railings, and low brick fence along paving.
Examination of electoral rolls at Battye Library has not shown any evidence of Mr. Joseph Totterdell at this address. He was Lord Mayor of Perth for a number of years after World War II, knighted in 1953 and died in 1959.
