Shows the old Railway Bridge over the Avon River (built 1909).

Written on reverse in black ink: "Another view showing the back of our future residence (under inkspot) Hubby."
Written on the front "our future home" next to an ink spot. [Writing on front not obvious]

Contextual Information

Companion photo to another held in the Shire of Toodyay collection, 2001.1540 which appears to have been taken at the same time from the same location at the summit of Mt. Anderson but with the view in a slightly different direction. That photo shows the Templar Hall without the extension which happened in 1924, therefore dating this image to prior to that date.
