'Brick Day, Soldiers' Home' fundraising button
c. 1916Circular fundraising badge or button sold during World War One to support the 'Brick Day' appeal between 1916-1919.
It features a colour illustration of four red bricks on a dark blue background, with the words 'Brick Day' in gold lettering above and 'Soldiers' Home' in white below, and a narrow golden ring inside the border.
