Australian Baseball Federation Annual Report 2000-2001

Overview

The Australian Baseball Federation Inc. annual report is a 40-page, A4-size document with white internal pages printed in colour. The front and back covers are mid-blue with a clear plastic sheet over the front cover. The report is bound with dark blue cloth tape. On the front cover in the top left-hand corner, is the Australian Baseball (AB) logo in red, blue and white. Three images are displayed diagonally down the cover: the first is a colour image of a game in progress; second is a black and white image of the 1956 Australian Olympic baseball team; the third image is a colour aerial view of the Blacktown Olympic Sports Complex. At the top and bottom of the front cover in white text, is the name of the organisation, the year date and the name of the report. The back cover has the AB logo in the centre top position, with the logos of seven State and Territory baseball leagues displayed diagonally down the page. The logo of the Blacktown City Council is at the bottom of the page.

Historical information

The Australian Baseball Federation is the peak representative body for baseball in Australia. The Australian Baseball Federation has national and international regulatory and co-ordination responsibilities. In performing those functions the Australian Baseball Federation uses the descriptor: “Baseball Australia”.
