1976 Western Australian Claxton Shield Series baseball team
A photograph of the 1976 Western Australian senior baseball team taken prior to their departure from Perth Airport to compete in the Australian Baseball Championship Claxton Shield Series in Adelaide, South Australia. The black and white photo is mounted on grey-coloured cardboard and was presented by the TAA airline in a blond-wood frame. Below the photograph is a hand-written caption in black print.
The 1976 Claxton Shield was the 37th annual Claxton Shield Championship; an Australian baseball tournament. It was held in Adelaide, South Australia and was won by the host State of South Australia.
