c. 1943Home-made radio or wireless made c1943 by Bert Congdon. Green painted metal casing open at back revealing 3 valves, power transformer and brown power cord. 4 dark red/brown bakelite knobs and 4 openings for sound on front of casing. Top casing has rectangular glass covered opening marked with stations KY, IX, PM, HR, WN, WF. Circular gauze-covered opening at rear of top casing.
