HAT PIN: GREEN AND BLACK BEADED
From a pair of hat pins.
Conical tops, which are decorated with rows of shiny dark green beads. Black thread probably used. Interior of cone probably wood painted black.

Hat pins from the home of the Misses Newman (two sisters), on the corner of Kershaw and Hamersley Roads, Subiaco. Hat pins used to secure hats on hair and prevent the hats blowing off.
