First World War postcard

Postcard sent by D.P.W. Buckley to Mrs R.E. Morrell on 27/02/1917.
Daniel Patrick William Buckley was born at Greenough in 1883, the son of John and Jane Ann Buckley (nee Stone). He embarked from Fremantle on 6 June 1915 aboard HMAT Geelong and served with the 11th Infantry Battalion. Buckley was wounded three times and also gassed, but did survive and return to Greenough.
Elizabeth Morrell (nee Duncan) was the wife of Reuben Morrell and lived at Ironbarks Farm, Greenough.

Message reads, "Dear Mrs Morrell I've just received a letter saying you had sent me a parcel. Haven't yet received it, I am waiting anxiously for the mail it was a well selected present as socks are very much needed in the trenches at the present."
Insert note reads, "With Best Wishes from yours truly D.P.W. Buckley."
