Historical information

The North Greenough State School was sited south of the junction of Georgina Rd and Gregory Rd (now Brand Highway) at Greenough. The school functioned from 1865 to the early 1920s, and then the building was demolished.
Little is known about Myra Smith other than she taught at the South Greenough State School c1900-01 and later at the North Greenough State School.
Gladys Morrell (1896-1988) was the daughter of Reuben & Elizabeth Morrell and grew up and lived all her life at Ironbarks Farm, North Greenough.
