Overview

A dainty fine white linen handkerchief with one corner and edging embroidered in fine pulled fabric stitching.

At a guess, single faggot stitch has been used to create the grid background of the design – a vase of flowers surrounded by scrolls.

The saw-toothed edging has also been created with the single faggot stitch and edged with tiny buttonhole stitches.
