A stunning piece of irish crochet, very finely made, including a wide variety of motifs which were first made then crocheted together. Info on this Irish Crochet doyley is published page 29 in Barbara Ballantyne’s book, Early History of Irish Crochet Lace, self published in NSW, 2007.

Doyley was donated by Mrs Margaret Fyfe.
