1996 WABL commemorative miniature baseball bat
A commemorative miniature wooden baseball bat. Attached near the base of the bat is a black, rectangular metal plate engraved with the name of the recipient, who presented it and why, and the year date. A hole has been drilled in the neck of the bat.
This commemorative baseball bat was presented to Western Australian baseball umpire Alan Luscombe in 1996 by the Directors of the West Australian Baseball League (WABL).

In 1992 Alan Luscombe became a Life Member of the Western Australian Baseball Umpires Association. In 1996 the West Australian Baseball League awarded him Life Membership of the League.
The commemorative bat was donated to the Baseball WA Museum & Archives by Alan Luscombe's family.
