Overview

A rectangular yellow book, with black text and a illustrated picture of St. Matthews church on the front. On the back an advert for SUNNYWEST Butter with [ ''Coastal Districts Times''-Phone Mandurah 388] along the lower edge.It has 80 pages of local advertising and recipes.

Historical information

The book was compiled by the Ladies Anglican Guild of the St.Matthews War Memorial Church to celebrate the Golden Jubilee Year of the Reverend S.T.Lindsey's ordination to the priesthood. The book includes recipes attributed to members of the church. It was owned and used by Alison Wholagan.
On the cover of the book is the concept drawing for the new extensions of St Matthews Church which was not completed until 1965.
