INVITATION - OPENING 1ST ARMADALE SCOUT GROUP HALL

White rectangle paper with black typed text. The document is an invitation addressed to Mr. Cumming by the 1st Armadale Scout Group, inviting him and his partner to attend the official opening of their new Scout Hall, located on Towney Street, on April 24th 1982.
Scout logo top left with organisation name. Logo is a circle made of rope with an adaptation of a map's north arrow (has a similar look to a paired back fleur-de-lis) inside it. At the bottom the circle the rope forms a reef knot. There is a star on the two side curls of the arrow.

Historical information

The invitation is to the official opening of the new Scout Hall on Townley Street, Armadale, on April 24th 1982. The hall was to be opened by Rear admiral Sir Richard Trowbridge the Governor of Western Australia.
The Armadale Scout Troop was started in 1910 with the headmaster of Armadale School Mr Schonell acting as Scoutmaster.
