VICTORIA PARK LIBRARY MOSAIC ARTWORK
1994The artwork is an Aboriginal mosaic created with ceramic tiles. Designed by Sandra Hill, the mosaic was created by Aboriginal Art Trainees: Eric Conway, Henry Shea, Cliff Kickett, Syd Forrest, Granville Ugle, Chris Kelly, Brian Williams and Sean Lawson.
Artist statement: The mosaic artwork on the gateway has been commissioned as part of a public training and employment initiative for Aboriginal people hosted by the City of Perth and the Town of Victoria Park.
