BURSWOOD CANAL 1831 - 1845
2005The sculpture commemorates the former Burswood Canal, which is now covered and lost within the Burswood Development.
The sign reads:
“Between Perth and my grant is a mud flat of nearly one and a half miles in length. One which a boat must be tracked over, even when empty.”
