A folded double sided piece of paper.

One side has the Armadale crest in black and white with [CITY OF ARMADALE] across the top. and [CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY] written below. below the crest has the heading [THE LANDSCAPE] in smaller text and the number [80] at the bottom above an address.

On the other side there is at the top a banner with [CENTENARY / 1894 - 1994 / SPANNING A CENTURY / LEADING THE WAY]. The three heading below the banner read [WHAT A PAST], [THE COUNCIL] and [FACTS AND FIGURES].

Historical information

In 1994, the City of Armadale celebrated their centenary. Originally beginning back in 1894 as the Kelmscott Roads Board the first recorded minutes of the board were of a meeting on the 5th April 1894. In 1910 the board was renamed the Armadale - Kelmscott Roads Board and in 1961 it become the Shire of Armadale- Kelmscott after the WA local Government Act passed. In 1979, the Town of Armadale was proclaimed, with Armadale becoming a city in 1985.
