Overview

Postcard: aerial view of Coronation Procession passing along the Mall. Three triumphal arches carrying the Royal Coat of Arms and with a huge wire crown suspended below are prominent. Servicemen line the route with huge crowds behind them.

Reverse: Printed by Raphael Tuck and Sons Ltd. Fine Art Publishers by appointment to various members of the Royal family. Their logo, an easel with the letters RTS and palette is on the reverse. Part of a series to commemorate the event.

A postcard donated by a local resident, Dr. W.B. Muston who was working in London at the time of the Coronation.
