Capenhurst Trophy - WAJBL Under 17 (2nd Division) Minor Premiers
A shield-shaped, dark-coloured wooden trophy. An engraved, gold-coloured metal scroll, bearing the name of the trophy, is attached above a shield-shaped, gold-coloured metal plate engraved with the title of the award. There are also sixteen smaller, shield-shaped, gold-coloured metal plates affixed to the wooden trophy. Fourteen of these small shields are engraved with the names and years of past minor premiers. Two of the small shields are not engraved.
This Capenhurst Trophy was awarded to Western Australian Junior Baseball League Under-17 (2) Minor Premiers baseball teams from 1986 to 1998-99.

The trophy acknowledges the achievements of teams involved in the sport of junior baseball in Western Australia. It was donated to the Baseball WA Museum & Archives by the West Australian Baseball League.
This trophy commemorates a history and naming of teams that have achieved a level of excellence in junior baseball in Western Australia. Of social significance, it also preserves and exhibits Western Australian baseball history and heritage.
