Peter Solomon Award 'League Runs Batted In' trophy - Gary Scarterfield
A light-brown, rectangular wooden trophy comprised of a darker wood cross beam atop two square columns. The cross beam bears an engraved metal plate with the name of the league. The columns sit on a rectangular block with a bevelled-edge base and are decorated with a geometric arrow pattern. On top of the cross beam is a central plastic medallion holder, with the medallion missing, flanked by two plastic, gold-coloured stars. In the centre of the trophy, sitting on the rectangular block, is a plastic gold-coloured baseballer in the batting stance atop a round, tapered plinth. A metal plate is affixed to the rectangular block, engraved with the name of the award, why it was awarded, the year date, and the name of the recipient and his achievement.
The West Australian Baseball League 'Peter Solomon Award' is an annual trophy awarded to the WABL baseballer with the highest runs batted in (RBIs) for a season. The trophy is retained by the winner.
