Ian Ross Shield for 'A' Grade Division 1 Minor Premiers

Overview

The wooden shield-shaped perpetual trophy, stand and base are made of jarrah. The engraved banner at the top, and the large central shield are made of silver metal. Above the central shield is a small, engraved, oval metal disc. Twelve small, metal shields, engraved with the dates and names of the winners, are attached down the left-hand side of the trophy. A label on the back of the trophy gives details of the manufacturer.

Historical information

This West Australian Baseball League 'Ian Ross' Shield was awarded to the Minor Premiers of 'A' Grade Division 1 from 1989 to 1992; changed to 'AA' Division 1 from 1992/93 until 1997/98.
