FISH DRYING

Overview

B/W copy. Fish drying Approximately 30 fish hanging on a line across a path. The line is attached to trellis on each side. Appears to be the side of 21 Stirling Road, the asbestos sleepout is visible on the left of photo. The fish are between about 8 and 12 inches long.

Historical information

Claremont home built 1917 by William Shaw. Home demolished 2002 (?) House built on block which used to be a camp for the camel men coming from Fremantle.Lived in by Shaw family until 1984/5.
