Central part of building with hip roof and gable projects slightly and has double sash windows with semi circular fanlights to upper storey. Lower storey has two large doors between stone pilasters supporting corbelled brickwork. Two people standing in left doorway. Two small children beside a handcart manned by two firemen in uniform and helmets. Early firetruck with ladder manned by three firemen. Two boys watching on far left.
