1940 - 1941Brass Plate with the Rising Sun emblem engraved in centre with "EGYPT" beneath. Around edge are engraving of four (4) snakes with flowers and four (4) birds with out-stretched wings located at the top, right, bottom and left.
Like in the First World War, souvenir objects were sent back to loved ones in Australia during the Second World War.
