Western Australian State Baseball Team necktie

Overview

A Western Australian State baseball team necktie made of black rayon and lined with brown silk. Embroidered along the length of the tie are narrow, gold-coloured diagonal stripes, spaced 11cm apart. Between the stripes are two embroidered logos of the State team. The logo is a shield with a stylised swan embroidered in gold-coloured thread.

Historical information

Austico was founded in 1915 by 'Turnbull Bros' as the 'Australian Tie Company'. The company still exists in the 2020s in Collingwood, Victoria.
