Layout of Coast Artillery instrumentation in the Oliver Hill Battery Plotting Room. The Rottnest Island Fortress Plotting Room complex is a semi-buried complex within the Oliver Hill perimeter. In the original build of 1936-38 it contained the Oliver Hill Battery Plotting Room. and a miniature range for coast artillery drills. It was expanded in 1942 to include a Fortress Plotting Room.
