Travel Correction Calculator No 1 Mk 1 was a mechanical calculator which was positioned on top of the Fire Direction Table with no mechanical or electrical link between them. The output scale of the Travel Correction Calculator provided the range and bearing offsets needed to aim the guns at the future location of the trarget. This output data was fed into the claclulations of the Fire Direction Table to generate the firing solution for the guns.
