Layout diagram of the Plotting Room Complex at Oliver Hill. The Fortress Plotting Room construction commenced in late 1942 adjacent to the existing Oliver Hill battery plotting room dating from 1938. There was also a miniature range to provide training in coast artillery target engagement procedures.
