First World War Black and White Photographic Postcard of Our Lady Roman Catholic Church of Heliopolis

c. 1916 - 1919
Overview

A small black and white photograph of a church. The building sits in an open square with other buildings in the background. The church has a central dome and several other smaller domes at the sides. The domes have various sized windows most of which have patterned grills. The two faces of the building that are visible each have large arches with crosses on top. The front of the building also has three smaller arches that appear to be the be entrances. There also seems to be another entrance on the right-hand side of the building. The reverse of the image has the proforma printing of part of a postcard and an inscription. There are a few stains on this. The photograph has a small border and is in good condition.
