LARGE WOODEN YOKE
c. 1900Large wooden yoke.
Made from a single piece of wood.
The central bulge tapers down to two ends that have holes drilled to take some chains.
Most likely made on a farm as the inside has been prepared with an adze and spokeshave leaving a slightly rough finish.
This yoke was probably made to fit a certain animal.
