TIN; KIDNEY SHAPED, BROADCASTING
1962Metal seed hand-broadcasting bowl, kidney shaped.
So shaped to hang comfortably in front of the body.
There are two loops made of thick wire, one on each side of the concave side (outside). A strap, usually leather, would attach to the loops to hang around a persons neck, with the bowl resting at waist height to make the scattering of seeds easier.
There is a larger handle on the opposite side, also on the outside of the tin.
