'Our Boys' fundraising days during World War One were organized to support Australian soldiers overseas and those returning home with injuries or disabilities. These days were part of a broader effort to raise money and awareness for various organizations providing essential support to servicemen and their families. Specific days were often dedicated to particular branches of the military, like the Navy or Army, with fundraising activities like selling badges, dolls, and other small items.
'Our Boys' Day' was run by the State War Council. A Collector's Permit for the appeal is also held in the collection.
