A small black and white photograph showing several palm trees and other plants beside what maybe a riverbank or irrigation channel. The image is very dark, and the top left-hand side is smudged. The reverse of the image has the proforma printing of part of a postcard and an inscription in black ink.

Historical information

This photograph is part of a collection of Sgt Frederick Ernest BRUCE 243 who served in the 3rd Machine Gun Brigade of the 10th Light Horse Regiment. Sgt BRUCE served at Gallipoli and arrived in Egypt in December 1915. It is unknown where this photograph was taken.
