1968 Western Australian State Under-16s baseball cap and pocket patch
A 1968 Western Australian Under-16s baseball cap made of black woollen fabric with the top button covered in the same material. Embroidered on the crown in yellow thread are the letters 'W.A.' and '1968' above two crossed baseball bats. Below the bats is an embroidered baseball in white thread and the words 'Under 16' in yellow thread. The front and back of the cap have black metal eyelets for ventilation. Inside the cap is lined with a light brown tartan and the underside of the visor is lined with green fabric.
The blazer pocket patch is made of black woollen fabric. Embroidered in yellow thread are the letters 'WA' above a yellow shield, which is itself embroidered with a black stylised swan with a red beak and eye. Below the shield, embroidered in yellow thread is the word 'Baseball' on a yellow scroll.
