Overview

This book provides information and instruction on the game of baseball for players, teachers and coaches. It is in the Rigby Sports Series of books and was written by Kingsley Wellington. The front and back covers are dark green with white and light green text. The front cover features a colour photographic image of a player at bat (Don Kyle wearing a West Stirling uniform) and a catcher (Doug Mateljan wearing a Wanneroo uniform) as well as an unidentified umpire. The photo has a light green border.

The book was first published in 1978 and this revised and updated edition was published in 1984.

Contextual Information

This book was donated to the Baseball WA Museum and Archives by baseball player Don Kyle, who appears on the cover of the book with Doug Mateljan. Both these players were inducted into the Baseball WA Hall of Fame in 2021.
