Two parts, front and back of an Irish crochet tea cosy, an important household accessory in 19th C.
The semicircular tea cosy, consists of 6 design bands.
Centre and bands 3 and 5 are the tiered roses.
Bands 2 and 4 are like a line of tulip flowers.
Band 6 is a scalloped with crochet semi circles.
The bands are connected with picoted brides.
